These unique and impressive photographs capture the eyes upon first glance. They are known as "contre-jour" images in the photography world. The effect comes from pointing the camera towards the source of light, similar to backlighting.
These images often hides details, thus, creating silhouettes. Taken under Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi, the photos show the beginning of the day from the photographer's perspective.
